What is SAPICA?
 SAPICA (the Leather and Footwear Salon), the international shoe fair held in the city of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, is the most important such event in Latin America and the second most important in the Americas. It is held twice a year; the March edition promotes the Autumn-Winter lines, while the August fair covers the Spring-Summer lines.
This fair, however, is the product of a long history of work and organization. Its importance becomes even more relevant after its enthralling historical development is known.
